How to make different shapes in dot mandala painting. (Swooshes, swipes, petals, squares, diamonds etc.)
Hey everyone! Welcome to my channel kraftaria.
When I started dot painting years ago, I used to do only dots but now a days after experimenting and with lots of experience I like to use all kinds of shapes in my artwork.
. Dot artists around the world are using these shapes and these shapes look really beautiful and give a great dimension to the artwork. I guess we can call it modern day dot painting. Today I am going to show you how to paint different shapes in dot mandala painting. They are called swooshes, swipes, petals or many other things.
You all can get this as a giveaway from my channel.
I have made all these shapes on a-black card stock in a grid. You can download this chart and use it for your reference.
So let’s start today’s. Video. If you are new here please subscribe to my channel. You will find new videos every week.
First I am making a simple dot with a dotting tool. You can see I am taking lots of paint and touching the surface very lightly. Just touch a bit and lift the tool.
Next I am using the cone to make a dot. You can see the dots come very puffy with the. cones.
For most of the shapes I put lots of paint with the tool and then drag the dot with a needle tool.
Here I am using the cone to make the same shapes. It becomes easier with the cones as you don’t have to load the tool with the paint many times. Just put a blob of paint and then drag it to make the shape.
You got the idea here right. Just put the paint on the surface and drag it with a needle tool to make any desired shape. Just keep watching till the end to see how I made all these shapes.

International peace day 2020/White peace dot mandala/Let’s activate peac...
Hello everyone, welcome to kraftaria. Today’s video is about peace and this peace Mandala.
21st September is international peace day. So I thought I will make a peace mandala and talk about peace with you all.
Whenever we see this symbol , peace comes to mind. Have you ever wondered what the meaning of this word is. Every individual has different answers to this question. The dictionary meaning of peace is - tranquility, freedom from disturbance, a quiet and calm state of mind. It is used as a friendly greeting or used as an order to remain silent.
The peace sign was created in 1958 by British graphic designer and Christian pacifist Gerald Holtom. Holtom was asked to create the banner and signs for a nuclear disarmament march in London, and he wanted a visual that would stick in the public's mind. So he created this symbol which is now known internationally as the "peace symbol" or "peace sign".
If I ask myself what peace is, I would think for a while and I say that peace is a state of mind. If my mind is calm and I accept everything as it comes in my life, I can say I am at peace. But it doesn’t always happen. Isn’t it. We are human beings and we all are full of feelings and emotions that won’t let us be at peace. We get angry and sad when our expectations and desires are not fulfilled. We get feelings of jealousy and feel restless. But we can rise above all these things. If we have the will to become better version of ourselves, we can do something about it. We can look for peace within ourselves and only there we can find it.
For me the most peaceful time of the day is in the morning when I am meditating. When my day starts with meditation, I feel my whole day is filled with some peace, some tranquility. I practice Heartfulness meditation. It is a meditation practice where you meditate on the divine light in your heart.
Heartfulness practice helps you to connect to your innerself. And I want to emphasise that it is free of cost.
I want to take this opportunity to tell you about this event that Heartfulness institute is going to conduct on international peace day. How to draw mandala for beginners/Tutorial for mandala drawing without a...
1. Always draw the guiding lines very lightly as you have to erase them later.
2. Divide your mandala in 6 or 8 parts for beginners. Later on after practice you can divide it into 12 or
3. Draw your design with pencil first and if you like it then go ahead and draw with pen.
4. Keep a small sheet of paper underneath your hand. So that your hand doesn’t smudge the design.
5. Use geometrical shapes like triangles, squares, ovals in your design. They are easy to draw and they fill the design evenly.
6. When you are stuck with the design and don’t know what to do next, then just leave your desk for sometime and when you come back you will find new inspirations.
7. For filling the empty spaces draw small circles or tiny dots.
8. Outline the main design once again with a thick pen. It gives a beautiful finish.
9. After finishing your mandala stare it for some time. It is important to appreciate your own work. Enjoy the process and appreciate the result.
10. Erase the pencil marks when your ink is completely dry. Otherwise you will end up with a smudged mandala design.

Actually I don’t like pringle chips but I still let my children buy it so that I can use the box and turn it into something beautiful. It’s a perfect example of best out of waste. These days I am into dot painting phase. And I am dot painting on everything. So I thought of painting this box also with a dot mandala

Hello everyone!
My name is Sarika and I welcome you all to my channel kraftaria. In today’s video I am going to show you how to do dot painting on a ceramic cup.
It is such a beautiful day today to create something beautiful. I am always grateful to nature to give us so much beauty
Sometimes I see a beautiful shade in between clouds in the sky and I feel like dipping my brush in that right there and spread it on my canvas. But in fact It’s so difficult to create the colours on my palate. Then I just leave it and be immersed in the beauty of those colours. You can not always capture the beauty of nature in camera or on canvas. You just have to feel it and be there to appreciate it. So many times in the evenings, sunsets make you love everything so much more. those magical moments can be just witnessed not captured. They can be cherished and you can create memories by making something beautiful by getting inspired.
That is what I do in my art. I try to create beauty inspired by nature and I enjoy the process of making them. I can tell you this from my experience that enjoying the process makes it all worth it. And it makes the end result more beautiful.
So guys! Enjoy the process of creating things, making art, let your hands be dirty with paints and glue and be mesmerised with raw materials and make something beautiful out of it. Remember art has no rules, you can make things in your own way. Let your creativity speak for you. Make your art your reflection. Nothing is perfect and no one is perfect. So don’t go behind perfection. Enjoy the process and be your own favourite artist.
